Art 1 Final Portfolio

1.    Which project was your favorite or most successful this semester? Please explain.

a
I loved making my clay tile because i was able to use the art skills and make it a hands on experience, plus working with clay is really a good way to make an image  in your mind come to life.  i think i did the best on this project then any of my others because i was able to use my own imagination by choosing a topic and every detail, as long as it was about an animal.

1.    Regardless of whether you liked or disliked a project, which one did you learn, grow, or developed the most from? Please explain.

when it comes to how much i learned about art, i have to say the painting was probably where i had to discover and use most of all my skills i learned, mostly because when it comes to painting you really have to be able to have a precise image in your mind and have to have the skill and the opened mind to make risks like adding more color or using a purple with a brown, and you have to be able to see what you wanna paint even if it looks a mess at the time, it was a challenge but it was a fun experience.

1.    Choose 1 piece of Art that you used skills and techniques learned from previous projects. Discuss your growth as an artist and how you incorporated these skills and techniques to create the piece.

Although this piece wasn't one of my best projects it still used allot of elements you would use and that would help improve your art. Weather its painting or building, ill tell you why. when your painting its not just about the skill or detail, its about how you can match and make each color with each other. and this project helps with building your choosing specific shapes to make one piece of work

1.    Which project do you feel was the least important in learning the concepts taught in this course? Please explain.

v

as beneficial this project was on helping you learn how to fade, and as much as i love this class, i didn't think this project was really that important because none of our other work was ever done on IPad again so i feel like this was the least important.

1.    Choose a piece or artwork where the subject matter reflects you as an artist. One that you have a personal connection to. Please explain your choice.

As silly as this may seem i really think this was the piece that i could relate to the most, mostly because i used to watch this show and the twisted world this character likes in is one of my favorite types of  images and art, also i am into the use of skeletons i really like what you can do with them, and last i really like the position hes in it lets me play with how the skeleton would be moving and i still keeps the feeling of energy that the pre image had.
